Bulawan means gold, and the falls are named for the golden colour the water takes on in the sunlight. A clear pool at the foot is good for a swim, and the forest trail in is easy enough for most hikers.

Getting there from the resort

1. Green Everlasting Beach Resort
2. Head to Brgy. Paleg, the barangay next to Nipoo, towards the mountains.
3. The last part is a trek on foot through forest.
4. Take a local guide if it is your first time.
